Frequently Asked Questions

North East Peace and Security Network (NE-PSN) is a network of organisations working on conflict mitigation, peacebuilding, security, and governance related interventions in the North East, under the umbrella of the Nigeria Peace and Security Network (PSN).

We aim to contribute to peace and development in the Northeast through sustained civic engagement.

Members consist of Northeast-based civil society organisations, international NGOs, UN agencies, donors, and embassies.

Membership is organisational not individual-based as staff turnover is much in the development sector. However, you can volunteer to render your services through the secretariat.

The network is not owned by any one organization; it uses a collective model of decision-making in the operations and governance of the network.

Joining the NE-PSN comes with a lot of individual and institutional benefits. You will have the opportunity to connect, advocate, share resources, partake in decision making and improve the capacity of your staff, among others.

NE-PSN provides a comprehensive and coordinated approach to peace and security in the Northeast and Nigeria in general through networking, conflict analysis, policy action and capacity building of member organizations.

At the NE-PSN we create opportunities for and organise, Joint Analysis, Monthly meetings, Policy Advocacy, Cross Organizational Learning and capacity building. See more details at the About us page here.
